fight off the lethargy
He's lean, he's mean, he's a killing machine. Literally. Though, perhaps mean doesn't quite describe him well…apathetic, sociable, maybe. Witty, deadpan snarker, definitely the person you invite to the party - but not mean. And the last thing you'd expect him to be would be an assassin for the Russian mafia - but here he is, fully content with said job, even if he can't brag about how good he is at it to strangers. On the surface, though, he's just the very charismatic co-owner of one of the few coffee shops not owned by a big corporation in the city - and seems to make friends with just about anybody. He's conditioned to blend, to socialize - being specialized in infiltration, frame jobs, and espionage as it is, this is like taking candy from a baby.
don't go quietly
Friends are made easy, trust is not. He's sociable, he likes people, usually - there's not much you can do to anger him, so even if you hate him, he certainly can't work up the effort to hate you back. No matter how much he likes your company, no matter how much he claims to like you, however, it's a dog eat dog world, and he's not about to trust you with anything more important than picking up his dry cleaning.
If you have managed to get on his bad side…one, congratulations on still being alive, and two, you had to have done something big to push this man over the edge, considering he's the rational head in the room. He's a ruthless killer when it comes right down to the punchline, and as easy as it is for him to smile - it's just as easy for him to pull a trigger.

Lukas is a healthy 26 year old male. There have been flings, there have been exes - and he's been involved with at least three of his targets before. He's not the type to seek out others, per se - that is to say, he doesn't seduce everything with a pulse every other day - but any male his age who gets along with people so easily is bound to have some…encounters here and there. He's rather flighty with commitment, though - it comes with his issue of getting close to people. He's definitely not what you'd call promiscuous, though…just careful about the company he keeps so close.

ALRIGHT, well seeing as Lukas is sociable and Tea does visit the shop that Lukas and Rayna work at quite often. I could image them exchanging a few smart ass remarks to one another. I wouldn't say that they are friends or enemies, more like a neutral acquaintance with the potential for more, whatever that could be. Until then it would be an interesting comical encounter, because Tea thinks that any and all men that make a pass at her are pedophiles or weird guys with complexes. And depending on how Lukas handles Tea or percieves her, he could think she's some punk brat kid (because she looks like a middle school brat, when really she's twenty-three) or something along those lines and doesn't fully understand the circumstances behind her youthful appearance. Beyond that, I can't think of any where else they would possibly meet besides the shop so please feel free to brainstorm with me!

Okay so I know this is going to sound a bit far-fetched but hear me out. Marcus has recently received orders to infiltrate the organized crime syndicate in New York, specifically the ever growing presence of the Russian mafia. That's where Lukas comes in. One of Marcus' contacts in the underworld has informed him that the mafia have a few 'assets' at their disposal in the city. Hence Marcus goes undercover as a freelance assassin in order to infiltrate the Russians, his prime target being through Lukas. I think this should be interesting considering the both of them have similar personalities, both are somewhat indifferent, both are good at masking their intentions and both are great actors. Now hears the kicker, Marcus obviously has to try to get information out of Lukas, trying to befriend him and even use him as an in to the mafia. Lukas on the other hand, well being friendly, is a vigilant individual who trusts nobody. This in turn peeks Marcus' interest in Lukas wanting to delve even deeper into what Lukas is hiding, a constant push and pull between them, each one trying to conceal secrets from the other.
They would most likely become friends pretty easily considering their personalities and Marcus' interest in Lukas but eventually as the plot thickens they could turn into potential enemies later on. Personally Marcus would see Lukas as a rival, someone on equal terms as him. This is just a basic idea, you can decide to add, subtract, or even just delete.

Hee. Hee. You had an even better idea for the two of em than I did. I really like that, friends eventually turned enemies. Or rivals. Something like that. More rivals cause Lukas needs enough respect for him that he wouldn't shoot him in a flat-ass second...and of course Lukas would be one hell of a thorn on Marcus' side since, even if he knew Lukas has killed...a whole buncha people, there'd never be enough solid proof xD
Mind you as soon as Lukas would realize he was a threat he may...er, hospitalize him xD Not with horrible everlasting wounds but you know. He has to protect his assets. But yes, I definitely like that idea alot, the two of them could get incredibly fun.

lukas && marcus said you would never give up easy Okay so we established that they are going to be friends/rivals and it will probably be under the pretense that Marcus is a freelance assassin, He will probably use an identity of a well known assassin, who has actually already died in FBI custody but not known by anybody (so thinking the Black Reaper as an alias...you knew that was coming eventually  ). The assassin's (Black Reaper...xD) real identity is not known so it's perfect for Marcus to slip into, using the contacts they found with the original to 'smuggle' himself into the Russian's radar. The real question is acquaintance with each other. Did they already meet before, maybe as rivals first while going after the same target (Marcus was actually trying to save the target), before 'coincidentally' meeting again, this time Marcus not currently working for a rival and they hit it off. Or are they just meeting for the first time, being hired by Lukas' boss to go double agent with their rivals, while working with Lukas. I can only guess how your Mafia would react to Marcus' cover and Lukas as well. This is once again just an idea and I humbly await your opinion on it. COMBAT BABY, COME BACK BABY! |

I'M SORRY IT TOOK ME A BIT TO REPLY I've felt like utter crap and now I have to rush because I'm leaving tomorrow and UGH. *clears throat*
I already know Lukas goes under an alias, as well, but the other contract killers all go under the same alias - you know, the authorities would think they're after one guy when they're after 6 or 7? xD So even alot of the mafia itself, besides higher-ups and the other assassins, don't even know he is who he is. Makes it safer from squealers.

My brain is not functioning well at the moment but lemmie see how coherent I can be |D I kinda like the idea of being rivals first on 'opposing sides' (on so many more ways than one, but Lukas wouldn't know that xD) if only because I have this mental image of Lukas being continually blocked from openings to kill his target because Marcus was interfering (which, Marcus likely wouldn't have know Lukas was the assassin at first - he blends in any situation ridiculously well), and him being on the verge of just shooting someone out of frustration xD And then of course Marcus switching sides - which it woulda likely been easy for Lukas to get on with him...just cause he's so...I dunno, HIM.
