Perhaps the best feature upon him, if Joze really focused on that fact. But his overall appearance was stunning, one could not really say what Callum’s best features were at just once glance. He was just so… stunning. The doubts were still flittering through her head, but she had the impending feeling that they were going to disappear very, very soon. But the sense of unease and worry was only a slight emotion – buried deep beneath. Deep beneath the emotions of nervousness and excitement. He really seemed to have taken an interest in her, which was always an invited thing for Joze, but she really didn’t believe it was just at first sight. Having a low self-esteem, she didn’t think herself very pretty (perhaps the absence of anything in the chest area had an effect on her more than she realized), but overall a pretty okay person. Normal, if she must say. At least, in physical appearance. But the terms of their meeting had actually been really surprising. Usually when people accidentally bumped into each other, regardless of anyone’s fault, usually people would just shrug off a sorry and be on their way. That was how Joze had always been – and it had formed into a habit since one really could not avoid being slammed into another person now. But now it had been a full out conversation and now a date. She’ll give all the credit to Callum, he had been very persistent until the end… then she had to cut in because she was careless with her words. But Joze should probably be glad of his insistent nature, because if he hadn’t had it she probably wouldn’t have anything to do after work. And have a relatively boring weekend. Like all the rest of her weekends. But she was lucky this time, for some reason. She had better thank whatever force was acting upon her, because for them to have dropped this handsome, handsome devil, she must have been extremely lucky. Although chance, that was always an option. The most likely option, she might add, but still. Maybe this wasn’t all a coincidence by being accidentally bumped into. But that would mean it would be premeditated, and that she was bumped into by Callum on purpose for the reason of what she had now – a date. No, that was silly. It was all just coincidence. Besides – she could not possibly catch the eye of someone as beautiful as him. What did she have that was appealing? It was definitely not her looks – after all, just looked at her chest. Nothing. At least, not with this black jacket on. Sure, if you examined them closely (which you would never get to do because Joze would attempt the beat the living daylights out of you if that ever happened), you might see some curve. But it was otherwise invisible. Sure, one might look at her face and say ‘What a pretty face’, but let’s face it; most boys wouldn’t look at her face. If they even looked at her at all, which was a rare sight in all occasions. But maybe for once this guy was different, but she wouldn’t count on it. Besides, he had wanted to take her out because he was sorry that he had bumped into her and that he wanted to make it up to her. Which all in all lead to this, but she didn’t want him to feel like he was obliged to do this. But it changed with the next couple of words that were spoken. The fountain? What a romantic place… Of course, all doubts were soon out of her mind because of how romantic it was. The romantic part of her – the hopeless one at that – came out of her and doubts (once again, everyone!) erased themselves from her mind. In a daze, gleeful eyes met his and she smiled. “I’d love to!” And, nine-thirty was perfect – it have her thirty minutes after work. Although she wouldn’t have enough time to change, at least she wouldn’t be late, which was a good thing all around. Besides – she needed to have some fun, which she had been sorely lacking for the past month. TAGGED • callum WORDS • didn't count MUSIC • panic! at the disco NOTES • sorry it’s so late – was going to finish it earlier but spike started bugging me to post in the event. coded by lovesolfege of ote! |
