○ IMPULSIVE;; Perhaps one can blame her inner tomboy for being as impulsive as she can be. She does a lot of things on a whim unless it's one of her goals. She doesn't think things through and lets her instincts take over a lot of the time, more often than not leading her into some sort of trouble. However, she likes to think of herself more as spontaneous rather than impulsive; who wants to be stuck with the same old routine every day?
○ PERCEPTIVE;; Nemi finds watching people to be one of the most fascinating things to do when bored. From watching people all the time, she tends to pick up things about them. Adding to the fact that she can be empathetic when she wants to be, it almost seems like she can understand a person by merely watching them. After learning things about a person, it's not hard to pick up on subtle differences for her; though it usually only works for people she gets to know very well.
○ ALERT;; Regardless of where the hell she is, Nemi always seems to be a bit on edge. It's almost like she's just waiting for something bad to happen just so she can always be ready. Her fight-or-flight reflexes make her a bit jumpy but all the more aware of what's going on around her and who's around her. It's really rare for anyone to catch her off-guard because of this unless she's in deep thought or highly distracted.
○ EMOTIONAL;; She doesn't like to admit it (at all), but she really is an emotional being. She tends to show off a slightly colder side, but it's usually to hide the fact that she is indeed quite sensitive when it comes to her feelings. Nemi doesn't have much of a handle on her emotions as she doesn't like dealing with them, usually resulting in her having emotional breakdowns once in a while. It's not odd at all for her to be happy one moment only to be depressed the next.
○ PROTECTIVE;; Her protectiveness usually kicks in around her loved ones as they mean a lot to her, but sometimes it seems to border on territorial. She doesn't let anyone to get too close those she cares about if she doesn't know them; especially if she doesn't like them. Nemi always says she does it out of love and utter concern for them, but it seems like she's more possessive of them than loving. There are even times where she's as protective of her friends and family as a little kid is protective of their most treasured toy.
○ AFFECTIONATE;; Though it seems to come off as a shock for those who don't know her too well, Nemi really is a caring person. She hides it with tough love most of the time, but there are moments where she'll actually be quite gentle. Even though she tends to only be that way towards the people she actually cares about, she'll occasionally act very sweetly to others; particularly if they feel down. She likes for others to feel happy.
○ GUARDED;; Ever since she could possibly remember, Nemi has always had her guard up around others. Perhaps it's the fact that she definitely doesn't want anyone to see how sensitive she really is. Or maybe it has to do with the fact that she doesn't like anything affecting her if she can help it. She can be as prickly and protective of herself as a cactus is protective of its water.
○ AMBITIOUS;; Once she has her mind made up about something, there really is no stopping this girl. She'll go through hell and back twice just to accomplish her goal. The sky could be falling, and she still would do her damnedest to reach her goal. She won't let any obstacle stand in her way if she can help it and she most certainly won't give up. What's life without challenges?

○ One would think Nemesis would be considered a person to have some sort of dark history judging by how emotionally protective she is of herself. Or that some other weird occurrence happened in her life to make her like that; but no, that's not it at all. All in all, Nemi lived a pretty typical life aside from coming from a relatively wealthy family. But that's no big deal, right?[/blockquote]
○ Born to Athena Cristoso-Arkwood and Darius Arkwood on a warm Spring day, Nemi should've known from the moment she was born that she was screwed. For one, her father was (stupidly) obsessed with Greek mythology names; which was probably one of the reasons Darius even bothered to marry her mother and why her brother was named after the Greek hero, Perseus. She ended up with the short end of the stick and ended up being named after the Goddess of Revenge, Nemesis. On top of that, her father is what some people would consider "New Money" since he managed to make big money with his business, so he made painstakingly sure that his family was "perfect" at all times. Imperfection was completely unacceptable to her father.
○ But aside from that, her life was pretty typical. She went to school like any typical child would and strived to be the very best she could possibly be. She had a few friends that she really didn't care about during her earlier years in elementary school. She did everything and anything that was expected of her; whether it was her teachers or her parents pushing her to do things. But her first best friend, Garrett Kenson, helped change that boring pattern in her life; he introduced her to music when they were in fourth grade.
○ Now, don't get her wrong: Nemi knew a bit about music thanks to their very interesting music teacher. She could read a few notes and be able to recognize certain pitches, but it wasn't much. Her friend Garrett, however, went on to teach her more and it all started when he gave her some simple lessons (or pointers, really) on the piano. She instantly fell in love with all that was music and obtained as much information about the melodious language as she could from her dear friend. But as time went on, Nemi began taking real lessons for piano and flute while Garrett went on to move far away from her. And although his departure deeply pained her, she continued on with her musical studies in memory of her beloved companion.
○ When high school hit, Nemi continued to work hard on music and even took AP and Honors classes when came to music. This was, of course, around the time when her brother Persues went off to study in Europe, leaving her to deal with her parents on her own. And without her brother around, her parents put a lot more pressure on her to have a "perfect" image in order to uphold the family's image. But with her busy music schedule and a new job at a music shop, she was often away from her house anyways.
○ During her senior year, the girl was accepted to several schools focusing in music. She had considered them all, but chose to stay in her hometown of New York; she did, however, move out of her parents' house for the sake of her sanity. She's currently in college and working her hardest to gain her doctoral degree in music. And not one to rely on her parents for anything, she continues to work at the music shop every afternoon during the work week.
